Find Momo: A Photography Book

Knapp, A. (2014). Find Momo: a photography book. Philadelphia: Quirk Books.

Summary: Momo is a border collie that travels the country with his owner Andrew Knapp. The book consists of a series of photographs that has Momo hidden among them. Andrew Knapp has included beautiful scenery from across the nation in this dog lover iSpy type book.
Commentary: Finding Momo is a book that includes more visual literacy than words. The style of the book is more about the composition of the pictures and the searching of dear Momo. The character of Momo stays the same throughout the book but is relatable. The reader will enjoy the hunt of finding him on those pages.
Connections: Teacher Resources, Book Trailer, Book Review, Author Interview
Similar Books: Maddie on Things: A Super Serious Project About Dogs and Physics by Theron Humphrey; Underwater Dogs by Seth Casteel; Dog Shaming by Pascale Lemire
Textbook Connections: Find Momo would be an excellent book to peak the interest of unmotivated readers.
